Orbyte is a dutch DJ in trance, progressive, melodic-techno and a bit of EDM! But most of his friends call him Jochem. He started DJ-ing at the age of 18, mixing tracks with a small DJ controller. Back in those years, 2018, was the time he discovered the beauty of electronic music. Jochem got inspired by big DJ's such as Hardwell, Armin van Buuren, David Guetta and many others. Soon after, he discoverd trance music in particular.
Starting at small parties with close friends Jochem created the energetic alias: Orbyte. This project he started, and is still going, has just an open world ahead. Since Orbyte was born, Jochem lead a double life. Together they continue to make their dreams come true. Nowadays Orbyte already played during Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE), Oblivion Trance and Fusion London (yes, in the UK)!
What is 'signature'?
Every year on his birthday, Orbyte releases 3 mixes called 'Signature' that tells a new story chapter of his life. The personal touch of music he collected in that year is represented as a 'signature' set. Every year he collects music from the best artists from all over the world, and converse it into 3 mixes with 20 tracks each. Every year Signature has a new theme with a personal touch. All music mixed into it is both of personal selection and meaning, and contributes to the theme.
"Every year is another chapter in my life, which I tell thru a collection set of music. Signature is just a set of music that meant a lot to me in that year, or touched me really good.".
What is FROGR?
Same guy, different music. Established in 2025 Orbyte came up with a different dance act idea called FROGR, focussing on different music. Happy, bouncy, groovy and euphoric music. Orbyte presents FROGR bringing you trance classics, hard-house, eurodance and old school techno sounds. This music makes you happy, wanting to jump. And what animal does exactly that? Yeah, frogs! So be ready to GET FROGD with some FROGR energy!
Does orbyte produce music?

WHAT IS 'THE MULTIVERSE OF MUSIC'?
The Multiverse Of Music (MOM) is Orbyte's monthly radio show! It was the central theme of Orbyte's Signature '23 mixes, where he made 3 mixes instead of 1. This is continued ever since in Signature. 3 Signature mixes, 3 different versions of Orbyte presented music. In the radio show Orbyte will present you music he discovered, tracks from the past, present and future, and maybe invite an artist for a guestmix!
